My dear friend Jimmy,

You will be sorely missed. If it weren’t for you I would never have made it in the automobile business for 45 years. You were the first person I met the day I walked into Dahmer Chevrolet to apply for a job. From that day forward you were a friend and my best employee, not necessarily in that order. I always had the best looking lot around because of you. It’s our friendship that I’ll always remember because it was so genuine. I’ll see you again when my time comes to leave this earth 

My dear friend Jimmy. He’s been part of my life for  38+ years. Una is one of my best friends. Watching our kids grow up and spending many vacations together. They are truly family to us! Jimmy  had quite a sense of humor. One of the things I remember him breaking out in song and it was usually the song HAiR! The funny part is he usually had everyone singing along. 
I will cherish the memories of him and our families time spent together. He will be dearly missed. I know he’s at peace now with the Lord. Love ya Jimmy!

Dear Una and family. 
I was shocked and saddened to hear about James passing.
The Jimmy Ketchum that I knew could not be old enough to be gone.
I remember when he and John and I all worked at Dahmer Chevrolet in Independence.  I have not seen him for some time, but I always remember his sense of humor.  May God have mercy on his soul and God bless all of your family

Truly a man of men!  This young man made me a better supervisor for his dedication. Loyalty. Work ethic. Enthusiasm.  Trustworthy. Driven. Ambitious. I truly believe he made me better at my job and we understood each other. This fine man was full of life itself. And I know for a fact how much he loved his wife and his sons. Una was his best friend and his only love!  Hugs to the family of Ketchum and if Ford!  May Jimmy RIP.

If you would ever ask Jimmy where some place was......his answer would always be. "Do you know where _________is. Well it's no where close to that." Always, Always.

Jimmy went home to our Father GOD. Jimmy was an amazing man. He had the biggest heart and the kindest soul. He was ALWAYS gentle and kind. He was a great husband to my dear friend Una and an amazing father to his two sons.  Jimmy you will be deeply missed.  I am so incredibly blessed to have had you as a great friend. My heart breaks. 

I didn’t know Jimmy long but one fond memory of him working at Ford was one particular day someone was playing music and he bust out some dance moves. He actually had some rhythm to him. He was one heck of a worker and will truly be missed and has been missed  

One time, many many years ago. Our Bible study group came over for dinner. Well I did a terrible job of making gravy. I still have not lived it down. Jim used to call me when Una made gravy. Just to remind me of that day. Sometimes he would even take a picture of it and send it to me.

Gonna miss you Jimmy. 
 He had a great smile to go along with the great person he was. He loved our niece Una with all his heart and love  his sons dearly too.
 I know he will be looking down on his beautiful family and helping them get through this tough time in life .  
He will always be with us in our heart and memories.

I enjoyed  working with him on the motor line back in the day. Really nice person. He will be missed.
