James H. Holbrook, Jr., 65, entered into rest Wednesday, December 14, 2011 in Osage Beach, Missouri. Jim was born July 13, 1946 and lived most of his life in the Kansas City area before retiring full time to Lake of the Ozarks. Jim was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. As many have said, he was truly “one of a kind.” Jim was preceded in death by his parents, James H. and Rita Luverne Holbrook. He is survived by his wife of 46 years Elaine; son Lance and wife Michelle; son Brett and wife Crissy; beloved grandchildren Taylor, Justin, McKenzie and Braden; and his faithful poodle companion Nikki. Visitation will be from 12:00-1:00 p.m. followed by funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 19 at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri. Burial in Mt.
