James Cofer, age 78, passed away September 5, 2017. Visitation will begin at 11am at the chapel, followed by funeral services at 12Noon, Sept. 9, 2017. Burial will follow. Jim was born in Jamestown, MO, to J.W. and Gertie Cofer, in 1938. He attended Missouri Institute of Technology in 1963. He was a service technician for printing presses, working for A-M Bruning for over 25 years. Survivors include his children: James Verl Cofer, Penny Sue (Cofer) Pipes, and her husband Steve, Kyle Christopher Cofer, and his wife, Natalie; and Paula Rose Cofer; his brother, Richard Donald Cofer Sr.; grandchildren: James B. Cofer, Nicole E. (Cofer) Dobbe, Glenda Adrionna Petrie, Marley R. Gormly, Colin C. Cofer, Kevin Eli Cofer, and Grace K. Gormly; and great granddaughter Ameera R. Cofer; and several nephews, nieces and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Glenda Cofer. Arrangements: D.W.
