Jamal lived with his mother and stepfather Nathan Pratt II in Denver Colorado with his siblings for 9+ years of his young life. While in Colorado, Jamal excelled in academics along with sports. He excelled tremendously on the field, it became the focus of his life and he loved it. Jamal was known to love music, his siblings, but most of all his momma.
The Pratt family moved back to Kansas City, MO his freshman year of High School where he attended Olathe North. He started varsity football playing both ways as a tight end and defensive end. He was well loved by the coaches and players alike.
Jamal was the delight of his family lighting up any room he walked into.
He’s preceded in death by his grandmother, Sherry Doyle. He is survived by his mother, Caroline Pratt; his father, Nathan Pratt II; 5 brothers and 4 sisters: Isaiah, Anthony, Julius, Nate III, Xavier, Marian, Justyce, Natasha, Natalie.
