Jack K. Zander

Jack Kerwin Zander, 93, Lee’s Summit, Missouri passed away October 17, 2015 at Village Hospice House. Jack was an Army Air Corps veteran of WWII. He was past president/financial secretary/business manager for many years of Glaziers Union #558 and Painters District Council #3. Jack was a 60 year member of Mount Hope Lodge #476 in Odessa, Missouri, a 33 year member of the Ararat Shrine, and a member of the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, Kansas City, Missouri. Jack was on the board of Jackson County Election Commissioners.

Jack is preceded in death by his daughter, Diana Zander. Jack is survived by his wife of 73 years, Wanda Zander; sons David Zander and Dana Zander, and daughter Denise Zander. He also leaves behind five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 2:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m., Friday, October 23with funeral service 3:00 p.m. at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64131. Burial at Mt. Moriah Cemetery South.
