Jack worked in the wholesale florist industry for 38 years and retired from Greenhouse Florist as the General Manager.
Jack met Geraldine (Barr) Roberts at Westport High School. They were married on July 31st, 1959, in Kansas City. Kansas City, Missouri has always been their home.
Jack loved his fast cars and motorcycles and had a new car nearly every year. Jack and Gerry loved to travel and even bought a motorhome. He loved animals and always had dogs or cats and even had a skunk at one time. He loved to dance to Tom Jones music and even sported a perm to match.
Jack was the youngest of four children. His brothers Truston and Bob, and his sister Dean proceeded him in death.
He is survived by Gerry, his loving wife of 63 years, Brother-in-Law Gary (Susie) Barr, Sister-in-Law Susan (Larry) Cadena, and his many nieces and nephews in California, as well as “Bob’s Bunch” in Kansas City.
Jack will be missed by all.

A Visitation will be held for Jack from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Floral Hills Funeral Home (7000 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64133). The Funeral Service will begin at 2:00 PM followed by a graveside committal at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens (Same Address).
