Jack D. Fullerton, 83, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away Monday, March 7, 2011, at Timberlake Nursing Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, March 12th, 10:00 a.m., at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 4101 East 105th Terrace, Kansas City, MO, with burial following in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, March 11th, at McGilley State Line Chapel, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m., the Rosary will be prayed at 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 6700 Antioch Road, Suite 100, Merriam, KS, 66204.
Jack was born August 14, 1927, in Carthage, MO. He was a top car salesman for Chevrolet, an avid hunter and fisherman. Jack was a lifelong Chief’s Fan and season ticket holder. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed.
Jack was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie Fullerton; his mother, Lyde Fullerton and his father, Claude Fullerton. He is survived by his daughters, Vicki Balun, (Texas) Teresa Dunwell and Janel Fullerton (Colorado); stepdaughter, Terri Mentzel; stepsons, Mark Pummel, Greg Pummel, Tim Pummel and Bob Pummel; twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
