Irene Klein, 79, passed away on November 29, 2010 at Centerpointe Medical Center. Visitation will begin at 12noon Thursday, December 2, at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, followed by funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Interment in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the American Lung Association, 2400 Troost, Suite 4300, Kansas City, Missouri 64108. Irene was born to Amos B. and Ethel (Holt) Hill on August 12, 1931, in Gillette, Wyoming. She retired from Bendix/Allied Signal/Honeywell in 1989. She was a member of Raymore Assembly of God in Raymore, Missouri. She was an active member of Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 8100 and LIFT. Irene is survived by her son Mike Martin and wife Betsy; granddaughter Sarah Martin and grandson Josh Martin; sisters Gwendean Scott, Betty High, and Madilene Chriss; as well as several nephews and nieces.
