Herbert Lynch

Herbert L. Lynch, 92, passed away on July 17, 2015. Herbert was born September 1, 1922 the son of Charles and Nelli (Prickett) Lynch. He graduated in 1939 from Westport High School. He was married 55 years to Eloise (Mills) Lynch who preceded him in death on March 30, 2002. Herb worked at the main Post Office downtown KC, MO for 30 years before retiring March 17, 1978. He served in World War II for 3 years. In addition to his wife, he is preceded in death by his parents; 1 brother Charles Lynch; 1 sister Vi Pierce; son-in-law Thomas Stoltz (2004). He is survived by 3 children; Linda Stoltz, Bill (Jean) Lynch and Dennis (Margaret) Lynch all of Raymore; 7 grandchildren, Tom (Jennifer) Stoltz, John Stoltz, Todd (Charity) Stoltz, Lori (John) Skinner, Jim (Kristin) Lynch, Jennifer (David) Ham and Nicole (Brandon) Fender; 14 great grandchildren, Dallas (Lynn), Jake, Samantha, Cal, Colin, Chase, Cole and Kylee Stoltz, Ashleigh and Austin Skinner, Emillia and Izaiah Ham, Elise Lynch and Genaveev Fender. He was a kind and loving father who will be greatly missed. Visitation will be from 9 am until service time at 10 am, Saturday, July 25, 2015 at Floral Hills Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Raymore Cemetery. The family suggests memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
