Helen Rose Metz passed away September 11, 2012 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Kansas City, MO. Helen was born on June 17, 1919 in Kansas City, KS. She was a cherished mother, grandmother, friend and neighbor. She was preceded in death by her husband Herman. She leaves three children, Kelley and Carl Metz and Helen Sherwood, 10 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 4 nieces and 4 nephews.
A visitation will be held from 3-5 PM September 28, followed by a prayer service, at McGilley State Line Chapel, 12301 State Line Road, Kansas City, MO. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on September 29 at 11 AM at St. Regis Catholic Church, 8941 James A. Reed Road, Kansas City, MO. No flowers please.
