Helen Frances Ertle, a longtime resident of Raytown, passed away Dec. 4, 2013. Frances was born on Dec. 9, 1923 in her childhood home to Napoleon P. & Blanche Fordham Marcoux. She was their fifth child & only girl. Frances was a star basketball player in high school and her love of all sports made her the “go-to gal” for all the stats. She was married for 67 years to Lloyd R. Ertle, who preceded her in death in 2012. Frances was a wonderful stay-at-home mother for Janice & Nelson, always putting her family before herself. She volunteered for many years as a Sunday School & Vacation Bible School Teacher and was a member of the Raytown Music Guild. Frances is survived by her son & daughter; two grandchildren, Marichiel and Dennis and one great-grandchild, Quentin. Visitation Mon., Dec. 9, 2013 from 11am-12pm with service beginning at 12pm all at the McGilley & Sheil Chapel. Interment to follow in Brooking Cemetery, Raytown, MO.
