Helen Harrington, 98, of Kansas City, MO passed away December 31, 2010. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 4th from 6-8 PM at McGilley Antioch Chapel. Funeral service will be 11 AM Wednesday, January 5th at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice 7611 State Line Rd. Suite 200 Kansas City, MO 64114. Helen was a high school graduate of Redemptorist. She belonged to St. Elizabeth Catholic Church; she was a longtime member of the Sienna Club and Good Shepherd Guild. Helen retired after 40 years from the Burlington Northern Railroad. Helen was preceded in death by her parents; Thomas and Mary Harrington, and her sister; Anna May (Harrington) Riley. Survivors include; a niece, Mary Tomc, 2 nephews, Sean Riley, Kevin Riley, great nephew, Matthew Tomc and 2 great nieces, Rachel and Caitlin Riley.
