Mrs Whipple was like a mother to me while I was in my teens.  I really loved and respected her. I hadn’t seen any FB post from her in awhile so I looked into if further and saw she left to be with the Lord. 
My condolences to Jeff Whipple and Karla Dotson.  She was a wonderful human. ❤️

I recognized the name "Whipple" from Center days and after reading further, realized that George Ann must be your Mom - I am so sorry for your loss. 


Jeff and Karla you are in my thoughts and prayers. Losing a parent is really tough as Rick and I have lost all 4 now. I didn't see there was going to be a memorial service from the newspaper only to send condolences. I dropped the ball in not searching the email to Mt Moriah immediately. I would have come and hugged you both. Your mom was a tough cookie on the surface then over the years growing up, I was able to explore a friendship as 2 adults not often enough but visits back after Center graduation prior and after my parents moved. We all had aged and in different stages of our lives. I hadn't seen her in the last few years. Recall lots of memories from age 5 with both of you and the neighborhood friendships and parents who influenced who we are today.
