George W. Saling

GEORGE W. SALING George W. Saling, 96, of Pittsville, MO, passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2017, at his home. He was born March 2, 1921, in Centerview, MO, the son of Charles Saling and Mary (Greer) Saling. On December 10, 1941, he married his sweetheart, Florence “Babe” Henderson. George served in the U.S. Army during WWII and later worked as a carpenter and member of Union Local 61 for 65+ years. He is survived by two daughters, Linda and Pamela; one son-in-law; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. George was preceded in death by his wife, parents, one brother and four sisters. Services will be held at Floral Hills on Monday, July 24, 2017. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M.-12:00 P.M. and funeral services will be at 12:00 P.M. Burial will follow at the Floral Hills Cemetery.
