On August 27, 2021, Gabriel David Mendoza, II, a loving son, brother, uncle, grandson and nephew passed away at the age of 25. Gabe was born February 15, 1996 in Kansas City, MO to Jeremy Hart and Gina Florido. He graduated from Van Horn High School.
Gabe sure did love his big family. He loved food, his tacos, and shrimp boils. He was always a fan of his momma’s and sisters’ cooking. He was a huge, HUGE Chiefs fan. He was also a dedicated member of Planet Fitness and Genesis. Unlike everyone else, he was either reading or writing, rather than on his phone. He was neat and organized and had so much order in his life. Even as a quiet and private person, you could rely on him for anything. He would never let anyone down. Gabe’s BIG, beautiful, contagious smile will forever be imprinted in our hearts for the rest of our lives.
He is proceeded in death by his father Gabriel David Mendoza. He is survived by his mother Gina; father Jeremy; sisters Mercedez and Mikayla; brother Jeremy; nieces Monica and Mya; nephew Markos; grandfather Faustino; grandmothers Cecilia and Sheryl; and several cousins, uncles, and aunts.
Visitation will start at 9am, followed by a funeral service at 11am, Friday, September 3, 2021 at Sheffield Family Life Center, 5700 Winner Rd, Kansas City, MO. Burial in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
