Freda M. Ditto, 98 years old, passed awayJuly 5th, 2011 in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. She was born January 2, 1913 in Wakenda, Missouri (Carroll County), daughter of Major H. and Edith Myrtle (Haney) Williams. She married Carl M. Ditto in 1937. Freda worked at Sears-Roebuck Co. and retired from General Services Administration. She moved to John Knox Village in 1986 and had lived there 25 years. She volunteered at Lee’s Summit Hospital for 20 years. Freda enjoyed playing golf, bridge and board games, and fly fishing. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Carl and brother Tommy Williams. Memorial graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 11, at Mt. Moriah Cemetery South, 10507 Holmes Road. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Village House Hospice at John Knox Village, 600 NW Pryor Road, Lee’s Summit, Missouri 64081.
