Faye Marion Wasco, 81, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away on July 29, 2023 at home surrounded by her family. A celebration of life with be planned at a later date. Faye was born October 9, 1941 in Duluth, Minnesota. She raised a family at home and loved going to all of her grandchildren’s activities.
Faye looked forward to summers every year where she spent time at the family cabin picking blueberries, blackberries and strawberries. She also enjoyed swimming, boating with family and friends and reading. As an avid reader, she enjoyed all types of books and would read many books over the summer. Faye was also a long time member of the Blue Ridge Presbyterian Church in Raytown, Missouri, where she was involved in many activities. She will be missed by her family and friends.
Faye was preceded in death by her parents, Evelyn and Edwin Marion, and her sister, Bonnie J. Maki.
She is survived by her husband of sixty years, Kenneth, and her three children Judy (Greg), Steven (Debbie), Brian and four grandchildren, Brandon, Marissa, Melody and Savannah.
A Celebration of life for Faye Wasco will be held on Wednesday August 30th, 2023 from 5:00PM - 7:00PM at Blue Ridge Presbyterian Church 6429 Blue Ridge Blvd. Raytown MO 64133.
