Evelyn L. Eastwood, 94, of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away Saturday, October 2, 2010 at Southern Hospitality Home in Olathe, Kansas. Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. followed by memorial service at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 16th, at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri, 64131. Mrs. Eastwood was born October 22, 1915 in Kansas City, Missouri, daughter of Wesley and Sadie Nelson. She had worked as the head of the mailing department at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She was preceded in death by her husband Joel Eastwood and son Steve L. Eastwood. Mrs. Eastwood is survived by her son Wesley N. Eastwood, extended family members and friends.
