Eugene J. Waddell

Eugene J. Waddell was born October 30, 1944, in Kansas City, Missouri to parents Floyd and Goldie Waddell. He grew up in Kansas City and Graduated from East High School in 1962, and went to work for Rival Manufacturing.

In 1967 he was drafted into the Army where he served in Korea during the Vietnam war. He was a very simple man and a hard worker. He married his wife Donna on May 6, 1972. Then in 1974 had oldest daughter Kimberly and in 1978 had a daughter Arissa.

He is survived by his wife and both daughters. His oldest daughter Kimberly lives in Greenwood, Missouri, and is married to Robert Sherwood. They have 2 children Kathleen and Ewan. His youngest daughter Arissa Twente lives in Oak Grove Missouri and is married to husband Derek, and they have a daughter named Taylor. Gene (as he liked to be called) loved his actual family and his church family as well.

He was as big a “foodie” as you’d ever meet. He enjoyed having meals with his family, and meals at church, well, just meals period. He enjoyed the fellowship just as much as the food. He will be missed so much. He’s now residing with Jesus and most likely enjoying an endless buffet.
