Emma was the only child born to Anna Crass Eldringhoff and George Eldringhoff on September 10, 1925 in White Church, MO. At a young age, she moved to Kansas City, MO with her parents. She attended South City View Elementary School and graduated high school from Ruskin High School in 1943. Emma Jean went on to marry, build a home, and raise 4 children. In later years, she worked as a switchboard operator until her retirement from Marmon/Keystone.
Survivors include her children, Karl (Joy) Ludwig, Theresa (Bob) Textor, Joe (Kelly) Ludwig and daughter-in-law, Patti Ludwig. Her son, Fred Ludwig, preceded her in death. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Emma enjoyed many hobbies including sewing, knitting, crocheting, needlepoint, sunbathing, reading, water aerobics, and walking. She was dearly loved and will be forever missed.
A visitation is scheduled from 9:00 - 10:00 am Monday, September 9th, with Rosary prayers at 10:00 am and Funeral Mass at 10:30 am, at St Gabriel Catholic Church. Burial will follow services in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Kansas City, MO.
