Emily was born on June 1st, 1941 in Chillicothe, Missouri. Despite undiagnosed diabetes struggle as a teenager, Emily overcame this challenge and became extremely well-versed in all things related to insulin-dependent diabetes as much as or more so than most physicians. Emily was a strong supporter of animal rights and became an activist for animal welfare, belonging to many groups.
She was preceded in death by her Mother Flora E. Myers and father Ardeis H. Myers, Sr. and brother Ardeis H. Myers, Jr.
She is survived by her sweetheart Dr. Narinder Verma, son Dr. Ardeis Scott, and daughter Scarlett K. Scott.
Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home on June 6th, 2024, at 1:00 p.m.
