Elvira Rodas, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2024, at the age of 71. Born on June 10, 1952, Elvira's life was a testament to the power of love, resilience, and the joy of giving.

Elvira's most cherished roles were those of mother and Abuelita. She is survived by her two devoted daughters, Veronica and Vanessa, who were the center of her universe. Elvira's legacy of kindness and strength lives on through them and her adored grandchildren, Jadyn and Koryn, who brought immense joy and laughter to her later years.

Elvira's life was marked by her unwavering support for her family, her generous spirit, and her ability to see the beauty in everyday moments. Her warmth and compassion touched the lives of all who knew her, leaving a lasting impact that will not be forgotten. Including working for the Jewish Nursing Home in Chelsea, Massachusetts for over 30 years.

A visitation will be held on Friday, March 29, 2024 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am to celebrate Elvira's life and legacy at Floral Hills Funeral Home, 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64133. With a graveside to follow at 10:00 am on Friday, March 29, 2024 at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64133.
