Elsie (Foster) Scott passed away January 26th, 2012 in Seminole, Florida at the home of her grandson. She was born, to Richard and Clara Foster in Peculiar, Missouri, September 21, 1917. She had lived her entire life in the Kansas City area and just recently moved to Fort Mill, South Carolina with her daughter and son-in-law to enjoy life with her little great grandchildren. Elsie spent many years doing and sharing the activity she loved, sewing. She sewed for friends and family but most of all shared her sewing talents with many ladies throughout the years by teaching sewing classes at her home. Elsie was never a lady to let grass grow under her feet. She was admired by friends and family for her spunk and class. She enjoyed traveling and was on a trip to visit places in the southeast when she stopped to spend time with her grandson and family when she passed peacefully. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years Joe Scott, and her son, Richard Scott. Elsie leaves behind her daughter, Carolyn and son-in-law Ralph Stewart of Fort Mill, South Carolina (formerly Kansas City), her sister, Hazel Feeback of Belton, Missouri, grandson Ardeis Scott and family, Seminole, Florida, granddaughters Scarlett Scott, Lenexa, Kansas, Shannon Stewart, San Diego, California and Ashlea Lynn and family, Fort Mill, South Carolina. She also leaves behind nieces, nephews and the many ladies who loved her and her willingness to share her love of sewing. She will be dearly missed by all. Visitation will begin at 12noon with the service following at 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 3rd, at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri. Burial in Mt.
