Ellen Marie Talley

Born on January 19, 1932 to Roy and Dora Oliver, she was the second of four children. The family lived in Braggadocio, Missouri. Of which her elder brother, Virgil, younger brother Raymond, and younger sister Beulah preceded her in death.

She met and married Lonnie L. Talley in 1952 and soon moved up to Kansas City, Missouri, Lonnie worked as an interior painter and Marie was a nursery school teacher. They raised three children.

Marie enjoyed gardening, playing the piano, singing in the church choir, and reading her Bible.

Marie was preceded in death by her husband Lonnie. She is survived by her son Billy, daughter Patricia, son Mark and his wife Amy; Grandchildren Shaun Barchus, Aaron Barchus, Jessica Warton, Michael Talley, Daniel Talley; Great-grandchildren Jack Warton, Bella Warton, Summer Talley, Stella Talley, Piper Warton, Robert Barchus, and Elizabeth Barchus.
