Bell was born in Lake Village, Arkansas on November 7, 1926 to Pasquali and Maria Georgini. She married Alverine Smith on October 5, 1944, and was married for 71 years until her husband’s death in December 2015. She was a life-long homemaker and worked for nearly 20 years at Raytown South Junior HS in the cafeteria. She was famous for the beautiful roses she grew, and for the decades of incredible vegetable gardens that she and her husband grew.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law Shirley Smith and granddaughter Jeanna; and son Steven Smith (and wife Betsy Kelleher), and granddaughters Elynn and Tenaly, and great grandson Lane Watson.
Bell was preceded in death by her husband Alverine and oldest son Clifford. She was the youngest in her family growing up and is preceded in death by her six siblings Santo, Frances, Helen, Alta, Gene, and Cecilia.
Visitation will be Monday, August 12th at 1 pm at Newcomers Floral Hills Funeral Home in Raytown (Kansas City address), followed by the Service at 2 pm.
