Elaine June Boydston

Mrs. Elaine June Boydston was born August 24th, 1931 in El Dorado Springs Missouri to John C. and Leah J. Eddlemon. She graduated from Hutchinson, Kansas High School and attended one year at Hutchinson Junior College.

She married Dale Boydston August 14th, 1965. Elaine went to work at Hallmark Cards Inc. in 1960. She left in 1966 and she and Dale owned and operated Ozark Fried Chicken at 57th and Troost in Kansas City for 7 years. In 1973 Elaine went back to work at Hallmark Cards and retired in 1994.

Preceded in death by her husband Dale, her sister and brother-in-law Bonnie J. and Archie Kirkpatrick. Two nephews Mike and Dennis Kirkpatrick.

Survivors include, son Jim Boydston and wife Nancy, daughter Christa Kelsey, nieces Joyce Sheehan and Kathy Rudder, in-laws Carl Boydston, Gale Boydston and wife Norma, Joe Burton and Kitty Burton, grandchildren John Boydston and wife Jody, Jeanette Klausmeier, Aspen Clark and husband Nicholas, great-grandson Laith Klausmeier, and many other cousins, nieces, and nephews.
