Eileen Ladd

Eileen L. (Duggan) Ladd, passed away Thursday, June 2, 2011 at St. Joseph Medical Center. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, June 7th, 10:00 a.m., at Christ the King Catholic Church, 8510 Wornall Road, Kansas City, MO, 64114, with burial following in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m., prior to the mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Christ the King Catholic Church.

Eileen was born November 28, 1925, in Kansas City, Missouri. She was a very devout Catholic. She graduated from Central High School in 1943. Eileen was very involved in the ABWA. She was a loving mother and wife and will be greatly missed. She could always light up a room and bring a smile to your face. Eileen’s positive outlook on life and deep faith inspired all who knew her.

Eileen was preceded in death by her husband, Jerold Ladd; sisters, Mary Margaret Holderby, Bernice Moore and brother, John A. Duggan. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Ann Donovan Weinhardt of Overland Park, KS; and her son, Gregory P. Donovan (Kerry) of Incline Village, NV; grandchildren, Kelly Weinhardt, Christopher (Angela) Weinhardt, Marueen Weinhardt, Taylor Weinhardt, Laura Donovan, Pamala Sara Donovan, John Patrick Donovan, III, Kevin Donovan and two great-grandchildren, Alexandra Weinhardt and Jake Weinhardt. She also leaves a sister, Loretta Collins of Ft. Scott, KS and several nieces and nephews.
