Edward Lincoln Smith Jr.

He was born May 11, 1953, in Forest City, Arkansas, the son of Edward Lincoln Smith Sr. and Mary Alice Smith (Shackleford.)

He had 3 children with Lindamarie Landers. He was a doting grandfather and loved to spend time outside and travel. He loved learning about his savior Jesus Christ and he greatly enjoyed spreading the Good News. He enjoyed keeping up with politics and chatting on the phone with his mother. He found great pleasure in the simple things in life.

He is survived by his mother, Maryalice Smith; son Glen (Joy) Smith; son James (Donna) Smith; daughter Caroline Smith; grandson whom he was a father figure to Ethan Smith; brother Aubrey (Donna) Smith; and 10 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by brother, Emmett Smith; father, Edward Smith Sr., and stepfather James Boykin.

There will be a small graveside service in Arkansas at a later date for family, questions about the service can be directed to Jim or Glen Smith. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to a kingdom furthering ministry in Ed's name.
