A funeral service for Edward will be held Saturday, March 18, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Newcomer's Floral Hills Funeral Home, 7000 BLUE RIDGE BLVD, KANSAS CITY, MO 64133, followed by a visitation from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.

Edward Randolph Miller (Ed) was born March 05, 1952 in Kansas City, Missouri to Maybelle Williams and Marvin E. Miller Sr.

March 05, 2023 at Research Medical Center, Edward peacefully ascended to be with his Heavenly Father. FREE AT LAST…

He was preceded in death by both parents, his 3 sisters: Marva Miller, Harlene Hughes and Della Templeton; 2 brothers: Earl Lee and Larry Williams; and his daughter, Kim Garner.

Edward Miller received his education in the Kansas City School District and later went to serve in the Marine Corps. And, thereafter, he pursued a career in different employment in the health field caring for those in need. This career ended in 2017 when he could no longer care for others. Edward was a “Jack of all Trades”. He loved hard and was truly unique in mind and spirit. You couldn’t hold a conversation with him without his Holy Father included within it.

Edward Randolph Miller leaves behind 3 daughters: Lisa Medina, Yvonne Bailey and LaTalia Cox; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers: Alonzo Williams and Marvin E. Miller Jr.; 2 sisters: Otis Jean Williams and Charmaine Gladney and a son-in-law, Andre L. Medina; with a host of nieces and nephews to keep and cherish his memories alive forever in their hearts and genes.
