Edna Thomas, 87, of Belton, MIssouri, passed away June 14, 2015. Visitation will be held from 12:00-1:00 p.m. followed by funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 26, at Mount Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri. Burial will be in Mount Moriah Cemetery.
Edna was born November 25, 1927 in Shackleford, Missouri, daughter of Russell and Lela (Reals) Cretcher. She had worked as a cashier in retail sales. She was preceded in death by her husband. Edna is survived by her son Russell F. Rouse, Sr. of Belton, Missouri, three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.
