Edith Katherine Johnson

Heaven gained another angel February 7th, 2021. Edith Katherine (Rick) Johnson passed away at North Kansas City Hospital due to a long battle with COPD. Being the 14th of 15 children, Edith was born and raised in the Kansas City Missouri area.

Edith was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney, of 43 years; her Mother, Katherine (Kessler); Father, Carl Rick; one granddaughter, Anji; 7 brothers: Phil, Carl, Edward, John, Frank, Leon & Leo Rick, and 7 sisters: Katherine, Loretta, Josephine, Lena, Alberta, Frances & Eileen.

She is survived by 1 son, Ronald Forrest (Rene); 2 daughters, Christie Caldarella (John) and Tammy Pence; 11 Grandchildren: Mike Powell (Samantha), Wendy Harbrucker (Chris), Shannon Powell (LeAnn), Mickie Jo Caldarella, John Caldarella IV, Matt Forrest, Carrie Burns (Richie), Addison Loonce (Cody), Chad Poindexter (Cathy), Jessica Goble (Curtis) and Christopher Pence; 29 Great Grandchildren: Caleb (Hannah), Keely (Sam), Patrick, Sam, Alyssa (Dalton), Sydney, Taylor (Josh), Kayden, Nathan, Allie, Gage, Johnny, Zoe (Alex), Serena, Malachi, Elijah, Madison, Kiley, Nathan, Keegan, Jayden, Ayla, Daxton, Ali, Marshall, Austin & Cameron; 4 Great-Great Grandchildren: Kinsleigh, Scarlett & Angel as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
