Ed was preceded in death by his parents Envoy and Mildred Brewer. He is survived by his wife Lorraine, step-sons Nick and Bryon, daughter-in-law Erin, grandchildren Luke and Emilia, sister Virginia Wonder, and many nieces and nephews.
Ed was born October 30, 1947. He was a car enthusiast, runner, and cyclist, and he was a lifelong fan of the Chiefs, Royals, and auto racing. He was fortunate to work his dream job at DC Tech for 50 years.
Ed and Lorraine were married in 1991 and traveled extensively in their spare time. Whether ocean cruises abroad or car cruises across the US, they enjoyed these trips in the company of friends and family.
A private inurnment service will be held at Mt. Moriah Cemetery, and a Celebration of Life & Car Show will be held from 10:00am to 2:00pm on Saturday, June 4 at The Pavilion at Theater In The Park, Shawnee Mission Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ed's name to the Special Olympics at support.specialolympics.org.
