She was born May 15, 1918, in Canadian, Texas, to Cliffe and Alice Ross. Dorothy was employed at Floral Hills Cemetery for many years before retiring and moving to Tucson. Most recently she was a member of the Rincon Mountain Presbyterian Church in Tucson.
Dorothy was preceded in death by husband, C. Grover Johnson, Odessa, Missouri; sister, Bernice Peters, Blue Springs, Missouri; and brother, Rex W. Ross, Sun City, Arizona. Dorothy is survived by two sons, Charles G. Johnson, Blue Springs, Missouri and Dr. Robert R. Johnson, Tucson, Arizona; daughter, Bernice Davis. Pearisburg, Virginia; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, February 13th at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri. Graveside service will follow in Mount Moriah Cemetery.
