Mrs. Harker was born Doris Murdoch in St. Louis, Missouri on May 9, 1931. She spent most of her life in the Kansas City, Missouri area.
Doris and her husband owned The Country Club Pharmacy in Kansas city, Missouri for approximately 20 years. After they sold the business, she was an active volunteer at The Kansas City Rehab Institute for 20 years-10 of those years on staff.
She was preceded in death by her husband Curtis Harker, her parents, two sisters, Deloris Hawkins and Toby Perry Hartley and brother Earnest Perry. She leaves her nieces, Donna Frohm, Linda Wattenbarger, Wanda Chard, Janice Cotton, Mary Core and Gay Englehaupt and two nephews, Darrel Fuller and Edwin Hartley.
