Donna Faye Williams

Donna Faye Williams (Butler), 76, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2024 at NorthCare Hospice House. Donna was born on April 3, 1948 to Donald and Dorothy Butler. She graduated from North Kansas City High School in 1966 and then graduated from Research College of Nursing. Donna married the love of her life, Carmen, in a quaint Las Vegas ceremony December 29, 1974. The couple welcomed their daughter Courtney in May 1981.

Donna will be remembered for so many things, but mostly the love she had for her family. Donna always helped support school functions, competitive roller skating, gymnastics, sports, band, and anything else she could see needed her help. She also loved to fish and being on the water. This was pure excitement and relaxation to her. Donna was always quick-witted and honest. She was always happy to talk and listen, have fun, and think outside of the box. Donna was one of the strongest, most honest, most loving women you would ever know; if you didn't know her, you should have.

Donna is preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Dorothy Butler, as well as her baby sister and best friend, Janet.

Donna is survived by her loving husband, Carmen Williams; her daughter, Courtney Kincaid; her grandsons, Cooper and Duncan Green; her sister Patricia James (Bernard); and her brother-in-law Aaron Nettle; as well as many family members.

The family would like to thank the staff at North Kansas City Hospital ICU and NorthCare Hospice House.

An angel gained her wings as we lost our Wife, Mother, Sister, Aunt, and NaNa.

A visitation for Donna Faye will be held Thursday, October 17 starting at 3pm followed by a Celebration of Life at 4pm. Services are provided by McGilley Antioch Chapel, 3325 NE Vivion, Road, Kansas City, MO 64119.
