Donald E. Pitts, 84, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2015. A visitation will be held Friday, March 27, 2015 at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri, from noon to 1:00 p.m. with services immediately following. Burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery South. Donald was born January 14, 1931 in Atchison, Kansas, to Orville and Bessie (Brown) Pitts. He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara L. Pitts in1989; his brother Loren Pitts and wife Rita.
Donald is survived by his wife, Wanda Pitts; daughters Connie Hill (Bob) and Ginger Pennington (Doug); grandchildren, Ian and Drew Hill, Todd Martin and wife Shannon, and Tyler Humar; great-grandchildren, Blaine and Dakota Hill, Addyson and Sophia Martin; stepchildren, Leslie Hendrickson, Kelly Kromer and Stephen Horner.
