Donald R. Keegan

Donald R. Keegan, 82, passed away October 9, 2017. Rosary recitation will be at 4pm Thursday, October 12, 2017 at McGilley State Line Chapel with visitation following from 4:30-6:30. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10am Friday, October 13, 2017 at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions are requested to St. Catherine’s or to the charity of donor’s choice.

Don was a lifelong area resident. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. After the war, he worked for T.W.A and Bendix before joining the Carpenter’s Union Local #61 where he worked for over 30 years, retiring in 1996.After his retirement, he worked part-time for Adesa Auto Auction. Don also enjoyed biking, snow skiing, and spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Mary Ann Keegan; a son, Don; daughter, Janice and her husband Darin Plum and their children, Nathan and Anna; daughter Linda Pickert and her daughters, Meredith, Claire and Rachel; his brother Eugene and sister, Mary Catherine Keegan. Don was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
