Diane Marie Owens, 61, went peacefully to meet the Lord on February 14, 2023. She was born in Kansas City, MO on September 10, 1961. This sweet soul is preceded in death by her father Harold Owens, stepfather Jack Massa, and her brother Buckley. She is survived by her Massa siblings, her mother Elizabeth Anne Massa, sister Mary Owens Boesen, and brothers Tom Owens (Lily) and Dave (Gerie).
She attended St. Agnes Catholic School, Bishop Miege High School, and graduated from UMKC.
Throughout her life Diane was a dedicated worker who smiled and laughed easily and looked for the best in people and situations. She found a great deal of comfort in her Catholic faith.
Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00am (Rosary 10:30) on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 followed by the Memorial Mass at 11:00am in St. Thomas More Catholic Church. Inurnment will be private.
