A Memorial Mass will be held in his honor on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at 11:30AM, with a Visitation starting at 10:30AM, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 900 NE Shady Lane Drive, Kansas City, MO 64118.
Immediately following the Mass, Dennis’s family would like to invite attendees to stay for a funeral luncheon at the church. Following the funeral luncheon, Dennis will be interred at Resurrection Cemetery, 5001 NE Cookingham Drive, Kansas City, MO 64156.
Dennis was born on September 19, 1951 in Kansas City, MO to Leonard and Marie (Pape) Robinson. He attended St. Charles elementary and St Pius X High School, graduating in 1969. Dennis obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Business from C.M.S.U. and later went on to study geology at Colorado University.
Dennis worked in Colorado and Texas for Diamond Shamrock Corporation, and later moved back to Kansas City to work in Outside Sales for Barr-Thorp Electric Co. Following his retirement, he spent his days in Harlingen, TX, always lending a helping hand to his neighbors. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed snow skiing, fishing, hunting, and playing golf.
Dennis is preceded in death by his father, Leonard Robinson; and his brothers-in-law, Chris Loveall and Wayne Keller. He leaves behind his mother, Marie Robinson of Kansas City, MO; siblings, Patrice (Paul) Priestley of Kansas City, MO, Janet Pape-Keller of Pleasant Hill, CA, Lee (Joan) Robinson of Scottsdale, AZ, Terry Robinson of Kansas City, MO, and Ann (Jim) Pozin of Weatherby Lake, MO; as well as his beloved 5 nephews and 3 nieces to cherish his memory.
Monetary donations in Dennis’s memory may be given to Cancer Action KC or St. Charles food pantry.
