Dennis was born on December 14, 1960 in Altus, Oklahoma to Thomas Sherwood and Caroline June (Graham) Frank. He served his country in both the Air Force and the Army. Dennis worked as a Jackson County Correctional Officer for 25 years until his retirement.
Dennis was an avid Kansas City Chiefs and Royals fan. He loved to fish for catfish.
Dennis was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Sherwood Frank.
Dennis is survived by his mother Caroline Frank and his sister Debbie Hawk of Oklahoma and her family. His loving family, the Hewitt Family: Jurgen & Beckie, Travis, Vickie, Sophia, Annabelle, Eric, Brittany, Cameron, Bailey, Chandler, Russell and Little Erik; the Buretz Family: Brad & Rose, Gabrielle, Katelyn, Hannah and Evelyn.
A Full Military Honors Service will be held at 12:00pm on Saturday, May 18, Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home at 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri. Interment will take place at Leavenworth National Cemetery at a later date.
