Denise Lanell Ray Lester, 51, of Kansas City, Missouri was born on February 4th 1960. She passed away on Saturday, October 29th 2011. Denise worshiped at St. Luke's United Methodist Church, worked at K-mart and Big Lots, and was a member of the ABWA. She enjoyed family, friends, scrapbooking and travel.
Denise is survived by Cleveland Ray of Kansas City, father, Casteline (Williams) Lester of Kansas City, mother, siblings: Larry (Valcinia) Lester of Kansas City, Camillie (Jan) Lester-Young of Kansas City, Brenda Madden of Kansas City and Darren (Maria) Wright-Lester of Schertz, Texas and many uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind friends: Marsha Gallagher, Ann Bellante, Dwayne "LG" Lovingood, Douglas Horn, Dana Gedminas, Jeannetta Smiley and Anthony Pearson an her God daughter, Tiffany Pearson Watson. Pallbearers include: Darren Lester, Brandon Madden, Jan Young, Mark Young, Larry Lester and Reginald Boyd.
