I met Debbie through a mutual friend, Kent Smith. Debbie was definitely the nicest person on Earth. Such a beautiful personality. She loved the Lord with all her heart. And Kent did too. I know they are in Heaven together having a wonderful time with all of their loved ones. I remember going to the Air Supply concert with Debbie and Paul and Kent and having a wonderful time. We just all need to remember all the good times we had with Debbie. She will be missed for sure. Love, Stefanie ❤️

My name is Tim, I would like to say that when I started working at the hospital Debbie trained me and a very good trainer at that, I could tell that going thru my training that she cared about people and loved what she did and did it very well. Over the years I learned alot from her and got to know her as well, she was like a sister to me. We spoke of alot but a couple of things we would speak of was popcorn and salsa, we would go back and forth getting popcorn for the other either by going to the cafeteria or bringing our own in to microwave, when it came to salsa we both had our own recipes and we would both bring some in for the other to try, we both liked the other.  Not only was she a co-worker and a friend she was a good person at heart, would do anything for anybody, spoke of her kids and her granddaughter alot and loved them all but she adored your granddaughter Katy, spoke of some of the things they would do whether be cooking or hobbies. She definitely touched all of us and will be greatly missed....

I am so sorry for the loss. Debbie was such a wonderful, sweet, loving lady and she will be deeply missed. I have so many wonderful memories that include her. Of course the first memory starts with how we met Debbie in the first place. Tracy, I think that your memory is better with the story, but one I will always remember. Long story short it involved me and Tracy (I know other kids were involved as well) throwing dirt clods at each other at the apartment complex that we lived in. I think I got hit by a dirt clod and somehow found a dog collar and hit one of Tracy’s friends with the dog collar. Long story short my mom and Debbie met in the middle of the complex to talk about “the incident“. They decided to let kids be kids, and it was the beginning of a beautiful friendship. Tracy, Jason, Alan and I grew up like siblings. From all of the mini vacations to the lake that we took, camping at Murmur and Papa’s pond, and many holidays spent together, we were family. I will miss Debbie and her sweet smile. This place was a better place because Debbie was in it. There is no Doubt that she  is in a better place and deserves all of the warmth and happiness that it brings. Debbie was one of my moms best friends for 45 years, and I know my mom will be sad and miss her. They were both so blessed with a friendship they had.. Love you guys!

She helped me get back on my feet and encouraged my journey through many twists and turns, valleys and peaks. I am forever grateful for Debbie and her kindness and friendship. I Remember all the times that we drove vehicles across country.  We would do this over the weekend  and Debbie love to follow me from  state to state.. delivering  them we at lunch at the needle in Seattle to 
Pier 39 in California..  she love to be on the CB RADIO.  We were together from 1992 to 2013.. and friends still to this day. She was the love of my life..
I will miss her smile and her bubbly personality.  


I just wanted to take a few minutes and express my feeling as bout my friend Debbie. I only knew her a short time in her presence here on earth but know in my heart she is now singing with the heavenly chorus and watching over each and everyone of her family and friend to help guide them through their pain. I came to know her when my daughter in law Karen Hadley & husband ( my son) Tim  introduced us. Tim, Debbie and I had so much fun planning a surprise party for Karen. A good time was had by all and Debbie enjoyed it as much as Karen. I then enjoyed cooking for Debbie to surprise her with Chicken pot pies and goodies for her freezer just for the fun of it!  I will miss her great laugh and bubble personality. A better or true friend could not be found. May family and friends remember her with all the things she so loved. Debbie was a remarkable woman and my best friend for 44 years.  Lots of great memories and good times.  We shared everything, we laughed, we cried, we did it all.  She will be missed by many!  Thank you Tracy and Jason for sharing your Mother with my family and I.  I'm truly sorry for your loss, I know how much she loved each and everyone of you. Grandma Debbie was the most supportive, caring, loving, funniest person to ever walk the face of the Earth. I will never forget your unforgettable smile when I see you. When you stopped by for my Class of 2015 graduation party you gave me a tight hug and said "I couldn't be any more proud of your accomplishment!! You did it!! I'm the luckiest Grandma you've ever had." You will always be in my heart forever and ever!!! I will truly miss you and I love you!!! 

It was a simple night i made a doggie door for Marley. Once it was in I went outside and Debbie and Karen stayed inside to teach him how to use it. We bribed him with treats and he soon leaned how. But then we ended up laughing to the point of tears because he expected to keep getting treats. He must have went in and out 100 times in 5 minutes then looked up expectantly every time.
It was a simple fun time. 

Thank you, Debbie, for giving me my first Bible which I still use today. You also got me at Christmas my very first Turkey call that I still use today as well.
Thank you for all the great talks and memories that I will always cherish. 
Most of all, thank you for sharing your mother with me! That blessed me more than you knew!

Debbie is my cousin. We are the same age and would always play together when when my parents would visit my dad’s mother and sister (Grandma Timreck, Aunt Jeanie, and Uncle Chuck).  While the adults chatted and visited, I would seek out my favorite cousin - Debbie.  She saved me from boredom.  She was fun and “cool” and a great friend. Always smiling (not just for the camera).  Genuine.  Someone you could count upon. Before we were old enough to drive, I lent her my skateboard and encouraged her to use it when visiting the Doves (neighbors who lived within walking distance but far enough away in the heat of summer that you wish you had a driver’s license).  Well, she did borrow my skateboard and, after picking up a fair amount of speed going downhill, lost control and fell.  Apparently, she injured her wrist enough that it bothered her the rest of her life. She told me that she was ok with it though, because it always reminded her of me. I love and miss you Debbie. I wish we had more time together. 

I met Debbie when she was pregnant with Tracy.  She married my husband's best friend and moved to Colorado. She had such a good sense of humor and a great big heart. We became great friends and spent so much time together. But when her and the kids moved back to Kansas City, I only saw her occasionally. But we would talk on the phone and share everything going on in our lives.
 She had a lot of  people that loved her and she loved them back. We will all miss her so much.
I so wish I could see her again this side of Heaven.

There is so much to say about this amazing woman.  Debbie always made me feel as if I was part her family, even before Tracy and I were married.   She had a contagious smile that no matter how bad your day was, you knew everything would be alright.  You literally would just feel better after being around her.   She was always able to find the good in any situation.  Love you Debbie!   This world is at a loss without you.

I miss Grandma Debbie so much and I wish she was still here. We all do but we have to look on the bright side in the worst of times. Grandma is with Marley! Let's just hope that he isn't dyed blue (if you know what I mean! He he!). 

Also, Grandma can do anything! I even ask myself, "What is Grandma doing right now?" Then I think, "Probably playing games on her phone or hanging out with family."

I have so many memories! More than I remember. I loved it when Grandma would stay the night for Thanksgiving! We would play a game where one person would draw on the other persons back with their finger and the other would draw what they feel on paper!

I wish I could tell every tale but I'll say that I love her so much and she loves me too.

Debbie Boles was my sister.  For anyone who knew Debbie, they know how wonderful she was.  She always had a smile, ready to laugh and a kind word.  When we were probably 9 & 6 she wanted me to play with her, being the older sister I didn't always want to.  So I went and locked myself in the bathroom.  Debbie ran and got a piece of paper and quickly drew a little girl with long pigtails and a tong hanging down to the floor. (a self portrait) Came running to the bathroom and slipped it under the door. I thought it was so funny I came out and she won and I played.  More recently, she kept saying she was 68. I wasn't sure I was hearing her right so I finally asked her how old she was.  Again she said 68 so I asked how that happened. She said what?  I asked her how did I get 4 years older because most times I had been 3.  She did a little math and said OMG I'm 69. We had another good laugh.  My sister was a blessing to me and she will be truly missed. To all our family I know you will miss her too.  If you need anything, please let me know.  


I met Debbie about 14  years ago when I listed her moms house for sale. I did not know her at the time. We sat on her moms couch and began going over the paperwork and talking, then laughing, then giggling like little school girls. That is how fast we became friends. We loved going out to eat and trying different foods. We talked on the phone almost everyday. Especially  sense Covid. Saturday mornings we got our coffee and went over all of our life concerns and made sure we got everything straight! Ha Ha! Through all of our good and bad in our lives, she always had a smile and found the good in everything.  We loved going out to eat and finding unique places to go! One thing I know for sure, she loved her family! She is one of a kind and will be dearly missed by anyone that new her.

What can I say – she was my mom. I have a lifetime of memories; too many to narrow down to just one. She was a great mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed. I will always appreciate how much she loved Ann (my wife) and Katherine (my daughter). That meant the world to me. 

In loving memory....what can we say, such a wonderful, beautiful and amazing lady inside and out!  We have enjoyed getting to know you through all these years at family gatherings at Jason and Ann's home.   We will never forget our times together. You will be missed very deeply, but I know you will be watching over your family from your castle in the sky!  Much love!!!

Debbie was one of the sweetest people I knew.  She was one of our church members who always had a kind word to say. I was so sad to hear of her passing so quickly but I take solace knowing she will be in a better place with Jesus. God rest her sweet soul.

Debbie was a wonderful neighbor, friend and soul sister! My sister Maura and I adopted her into our sisterhood and we will really miss her.

We've known Debbie and her family since 1980 attending church together when our daughter was two years old. She's 42 now.  Sometimes life gets in the way and you don't see each other often.  For this, I'm sorry. 

Debbie and I co-directed Vacation Bible School one year and co-taught aerobics at church. Debbie always made things fun. She was beautiful inside and out. 

Till we meet again I'll hold my memories close to my heart.❤



Debbie and I have been friends 1990,she always had a way of making everyone feel special or important . I loved her laugh . Oh how she loved her kids and grandkids.
We had many longs talks  over the years and I look forward to seeing her in heaven when I get there.

Debbie and I met almost 18 years ago. We became very good friends.

Debbie meant so much to me. Always enjoyed our time together, sharing stories about our families. Debbie gave me strength and hope when I needed it.

Debbie was so excited to show me the birthday present Jason and Tracy got her for her 70th birthday.  She was very proud of it and loved it!

Losing Debbie has left a huge gap in my life. You will never be forgotten.  Love  you!!

It's impossible for me to think of just one memory of Debbie.  I am a neighbor of Debbie's.  We started doing Bible Studies together with other neighbors and became good friends.  What I remember most about Debbie is her smile, her laughter, and her amazing faith in Christ.  Debbie loved people and loved helping people.  She had a heart of pure gold. 

It seems no matter what we were doing we always ended up goofing off and laughing hysterically.  We worked together to put some screening on the rafters outside her screen door because birds were building their nests their and making a mess.  We were singing songs and laughing so hard we nearly fell off our ladders.

Debbie was a beautiful lady both inside and out and I was blessed to have known her.  I will miss this lady more than I can say.  

I'll never forget the time that my mom called me on her way to work.  We had a nice visit and as she pulled into the parking garage, said that she had to let me go because she doesn't get good reception in there.  This was followed by, "OH SHOOT! I left my friggin phone at home! I don't have the time to go back and get it!  Dang it!  I guess I'll just not have my phone today.

I had to gently remind her that she was in fact ON her phone.  Oh, we laughed and laughed.  Excellent way to start the day!

Your smile,  from our first meeting at CACU, that's what I remember.  An authentic, kind, nice to meet you smile. That smile, the one you shared with so many, how lucky we were. So lucky to know you and love you.
