Dean J. Moore, 72, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away Monday, January 24, 2011. Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. followed by funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 31, 2011 at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road. Interment will be in St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery in Manhattan, Kansas. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association, 6800 West 93rd Street, Overland Park, Kansas 66212. Mr. Moore was born August 16, 1938 in Beatrice, Nebraska, son of Gilbert Carlisle and Grace Cecelia (Glenn) Moore. He served in the Iowa National Guard. He had worked as a computer programmer in the telecommunications industry. He was preceded in death by his wife Karen Moore.
