Please join us at the flagpole in front of Floral Hills Funeral Home at 12:45 PM, on Saturday, February 10. We will convoy to David’s resting spot.

Please wear your favorite Chief’s shirt!

We will have sandwiches and David’s favorite beverage.

David E. Wise, August 5, 1946 – December 25, 2022, Lee’s Summit, MO

David E Wise, 76, passed away Sunday, December 25, 2022 at home in Lee’s Summit, MO. David was born on August 5, 1946 in Kansas City, MO to parents, Charles and Maybelle Wise.

David graduated from Southeast High School, Class of 1964. He served in the Marine Corp Reserves. He was a postal carrier in Kansas City, MO for 36 years. He was an avid sports fan. He loved nothing more than sitting in his rocking chair watching University of Missouri Sports, Kansas City Royals and the Kansas City Chiefs with an ICE-COLD BUD LIGHT!

David was married to the love of his life, Rindy Mathews Wise, for 37 years. David was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Maybelle Wise.

Survivors include his wife, Rindy. 2 Children, Chuck (Cathy) Wise and Jayme Brown. 2 Grandchildren Hayle Ellis and Austin Brown. As well as many nieces and nephews. He had many extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, family requests that you make a donation to a charity of your choice.

A celebration of life will be at Floral Hills Funeral Home at 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64133 on January 7, 2023, 1:00PM- 3:00PM. PLEASE WEAR YOUR BLACK AND GOLD OR YOUR BEST MIZZOU ATTIRE as we celebrate David.
