Wally, lived a life full of good-natured jovialness and friendship.  Always positive, every person Wally met became a friend.  As his cousin, I've come to realize Wally was also a bridge builder, building bridges between people.  The true measure of a person is how that person treats others that can offer them absolutely no benefit, and by that measure, as his many life-long friends can attest, David was beyond measure.  Wally's spirit will be missed but always remembered.  We love you Wally.

I was saddened to hear of the passing of David. He was one of the kids from our neighborhood in south Kansas City. Condolences to his family and friends.

You were a terrific father to Jonathan and I know he will carry with him his entire life the example you set for him. Kindness, loyalty, humor and a strong work ethic are great life lessons to teach. We know you will be watching from above and keeping an eye on Jonathan and Jackie.

My sincerest heart felt condolences goes out to Wally's family and friends. Wally and I attended O'Hara together, played football and wrestled on the same squad. Wally always had a smile on his face and was quick to bring anyone to laughter. I am honored to call him friend. He will truly be missed.

You will always be remembered and loved by all. 

I'll never forget our time together at St. Regis and O'Hara High. We had some FUN TIMES. You always looked out for your friends and classmates. I still remember the fun we had playing on the St. Regis baseball team. You were always a good athlete at whatever you did.

I'm saddened that you are gone but happy that you are now resting comfortably.  

We are all better people having known you and lucky to say you were our friend.

Say hello to your father in heaven. I always thought highly of him also.  I know he was proud of you.

I was very saddened to read about Wally's passing this morning. Wally was a great fellow, a good worker and a true pipefitter brother. We all that knew him will miss him. Wally, it was my pleasure to have known and worked with you. My condolences to the family for their loss.

Wally was a proud father of Jonathan and a loving partner to Jackie. Enjoyed our time in the bleachers. He was clever and insightful. ox

I'm sorry for the loss of Wally.  I'll never forget our first meeting in the dorm and several other memories as suite mates.

Nothing speaks more about this man, than the love his friends had for him.  There is a group of men, that never failed to include him in everything, especially the last few years. The LOVE was so loud between them, you couldn't help but feel it deep. 

Rest easy Wally.  May the Angels welcome you to Paradise.

For those "men" that were his friends, my sincere and heartfelt condolences to you all.  I know he loved you all just as hard.

It was a pleasure being a caregiver to Wally. Such a kindhearted person. He will be greatly missed.

I am just so very sorry for what he had to endure and for the crushing pain you have now that he's gone. Horrible disease.

David was the first friend I had. We met when we were 6 yrs. old. We shared many memories throughout our time. What I will remember most is his kindness and willingness to help out his friends. He had no enemies. What a good soul. Sharon and Lisa please accept my condolences. His family made him who he was.

Wally never knew an enemy. Everybody he met was an instant friend. I will miss you, my friend!
