David Hernandez Caudillo, 58 of KCMO, passed away on Saturday, Feb 2, 2019 at Carrington Assisted Living of Wichita, KS. He was born on March 15, 1960 to Jose Hernandez and Elvira Cervantes and was partially raised by his uncle, Richard Caudillo and wife, Josephina Hernandez. David worked at the KC Star newspaper for a few years and later at Elmwood Cemetery on Truman Rd. as a groundskeeper. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Elvira; and two sisters, Angelina and Alicia. He is survived by his two brothers, Alfred Hernandez (Theresa) and Sebastian Hernandez; three sisters, Maria Shafer (Steven), Josephine Hernandez, and Felipa Navarrete; numerous nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces. David’s soul and spirit are finally at peace! A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
