Darrell R. Honn

He was born on January 17, 1941 and raised by his parents Harold and Genevieve Honn.

Darrell was preceded in death by his brother Gene Honn and sister Karen Sue Honn. He is survived by his spouse Kathy Honn, brother Frank Honn (Becky), sister Sharon Buck (Jim), son Darren Honn (Karen), daughter Kristy Foster (Brian), seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and numerous cousins.

Darrell was a 1959 graduate of Grandview High School and served his country proudly in the United States Army. He retired from the Grandview Post Office after 36 years. Darrell raced sports cars and participated in the 24 hour endurance race at Daytona Beach. He loved to hunt and fish and take family vacations.

A Visitation will take place from 1:00pm to 2:00pm, Thursday, March 30 followed by a Funeral Service at 2:00 pm at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, MO 64131. Burial will follow in Mount Moriah Cemetery South.
