Danie Dunn, Eve Marie Craig, age 87, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away peacefully at her favorite place on earth, her beautiful Sophian Plaza Condo on the lovely Plaza, on Sunday, December 4, 2022.
Danie had totally renovated the magical, historical space back to stunning, award-winning living, working and entertaining space. Danie founded Danie Dunn Interiors and the rest is, as they say history! As her business grew so did her recognition. Her work was recognized locally and nationally. Many publications including the Kansas City Star, fashion and style magazines have interviewed her.
Danie was included in Who's Who of Interior Designers. One of her favorite activities was the Kansas City Showhouse. For years, she and many other talented people gave "New Life" to a wonderful property. Danie Dunn always said "a thing of beauty is forever." Her mission in life was to bring beauty to life... from an apartment, condo, small house, mansion or office space. Nobody did it better.
She passed away from this life peacefully at home surrounded by beautiful surroundings she had created. Danie was preceded in death by her husband William T. Edwards, daughter Linda Cheryl Dunn Parkinson and her youngest son Jeffrey Jay "JJ" Dunn.
Survivors include Chris and Kathy Dunn, Josh, Katie, Graham, Caroline and Mary Ellen Andrus. Matt, Mary Ann, Mallory, Mason, Mackinley and Marrick Dunn, Robin Parkinson, Keanu, Katie, Izzy,and Athena Sorbelli. Her youngest son Stuart Brian Dunn and Barbara, and granddaughter Sarah.

A Visitation for Danie will be held Thursday, December 8, 2022 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64131. A Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 pm. Danie will be laid to rest in Mount Moriah Cemetery South; Block: 13, Lot: 68, Space: 9.
Serving as pallbearers are Chris Dunn, Matt Dunn, Stuart Dunn, Mackinley Dunn, Marrick Dunn and Mason Dunn.
