Dan was born and raised in Kansas City, MO, on Jan. 26, 1940. After graduating from Central High School, he served active duty in the Coast Guard from September 1958 to May 1959 and was a reservist through July 1966.
Dan married Lura Lee Holmes on April 27, 1964, and supported his family as a house painter for most of his life. He was a devout Baptist, avid fisherman, and loyal Chiefs and Royals fan.
He is preceded in death by parents Walter and Violet (Enloe) Driscoll, brother Neil Driscoll, and twin grandsons, Tyler and Kyle.
Left to cherish Dan's memory: his wife of 56 years, Lura Lee Driscoll, their children, Shawn, Chris, Shannon, Michelle, and Carey; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; his sister Carol Easter and other loving family and friends.
Graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2020,11:00 AM at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64133.
