Dale Philip Sullivan, age 90, passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2020 peacefully with his wife beside him. Dale was born June 5, 1929 to Albert and Clarabelle Sullivan in Fristoe, Benton County, Missouri.
Dale was in the Army and served in the Korean War. He graduated from UMKC School of Law in 1955 and became a very successful attorney for the next sixty years.
In his free time, Dale enjoyed fishing, hunting, dancing with his beautiful wife, and was well known for playing his fiddle and touring with a group called “Friends of The Missouri Town 1855 Dance Band”.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents and ten of his siblings. He is survived by his wife Darlene Sullivan of Independence, MO; son Charles (Amber) Sullivan of Odessa, MO; daughter Nancy (Paul) Johnson of Belton, MO; step son Eric (Betsy) Bedwell of Chattanooga, TN; two sisters Louise Shields and Joan Garrison; three grandchildren: Eric and Troy Sullivan and Scott Johnson and one great grandchild Jacob Johnson.
Celebration of Life June 19 at 1:00pm Service at 2:00pm with Reception following.
